GTK takes the safety and wellbeing of its employees and visitors very seriously. In line with our company values, we have completed comprehensive risk assessments for our operations following guidance issued by the Government. 

As a result of these assessments, we have identified and implemented a range of controls to manage the risk of COVID-19 cross contamination and transmission, which include:

  • Enhanced cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures, with hand washing facilities and hand sanitisers located throughout our premises
  • Monitoring of temperatures on arrival for all employees and visitors
  • Mandatory wearing of facemasks in corridors, production and office where social distancing is not viable
  • Increased ventilation throughout our facilities and screens in the office for face to face desks
  • Additional space in production and welfare areas to assist social distancing
  • Onsite signage in the workplace to reinforce social distancing and hygiene guidance
  • Remote homeworking and use of remote meetings via Skype and Teams, with restricted onsite visits for suppliers, customers and other third parties
  • Regular reviews with employees and monitoring of safety controls to ensure compliance 
  • Regular review and update of the COVID-19 working safely risk assessment to verify safety measures remain relevant and appropriate
