CliveClive Dickinson is the Business Manager responsible for Displays at GTK and hadn’t ridden his bike for over three years before he signed up for the London to Brighton bike ride.

“I have to admit I had to blow the dust off my bike, as well as myself, when I started training earlier this year,” said Clive. “I completed the London to Brighton ride seven years ago and wanted to test myself again and hopefully beat my old time! The GTK team are riding for an extremely good cause and I am proud to be in the team.

“My training is going fairly well. At the moment I am averaging between 20 – 60 miles each week, and it’s starting to feel a little easier. At the beginning of the month I completed the Three Counties bike ride, which was a total of 54 miles, and felt comfortable with my performance. I need to make sure that I stick to my training programme and gradually build up my stamina so that I am at my peak at the actual event.

“Great Ormond Street Hospital does wonderful things for children and it’s a nice feeling to know that the money we raise will be going to such a great cause.”

Our team is cycling from London to Brighton for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity because of the amazing support given to Lily-May Betts.  Read more about her story and help with our fundraising efforts on our JustGiving page:
