PCB Connectors

Rapid development of electronic systems has placed increased demands on the complexity and quality of printed circuit boards and interconnection. Enhanced performance parameters and higher density pin counts have set new standards for PCB connector design.

GTK has risen to this challenge and currently manufactures millions of connectors each month to meet these ever increasing requirements.

From established industry standards such as IDC and D sub miniature connectors, through DIN 41612 to the latest Smart Card and personal computer connectors, GTK offer cost effective solutions to every day problems.

Modular Telephone Sockets     USB Connectors
Built to conform to FCC requirements, this comprehensive range of jacks is manufactured in both single and multiple gang styles. The 4, 6, 8 and 10 way housings are available shielded or unshielded and with either through hole or SMT PC tails. Designed to mate with standard telephone receiver and line cord plugs, applications include voice and data outlets, telephones, modems, medical equipment and personal computers.   In accordance with Universal Serial Bus Specification Version 1.00, this range of USB receptacles includes series A surface mount, through hole and dual port variants and series B right angle through hole formats. Originally designed to replace the various input and output interfaces used on personal computers, USB connectors are now used as standard interface devices in a multitude of applications.

D-Sub     Centronics
Manufactured in high volume for the personal computer and telecomms markets this high quality commercial range of D sub miniature connectors is available in all popular configurations. Complimentary boardlocks, threadlocks, board spacers and other accessories enable the total solution to everyday input/output requirements. Dual port, ferrite and high density versions are also available as standard for more demanding applications.   A quality range of right angle PCB sockets with metal front shells, boardlocks and front face fixings. In 14-50 way sizes, all sockets include bail locks as standard.

SCSI Centronics
Designed as an industry standard computer interface, these connectors provide the ideal solution where space is limited and high performance is required. The range is available in 20-120 way, with nickel plated shells and mini Centronics mating interfaces. Typical applications include printers, personal computers and networking cards.

SCSI II D Sub Miniature
AConforming to ANSI standards this SCSI II connector is available in 20-120 ways. It features nickel-plated shells and selectively gold plated contacts.

DC Power Jacks     Mini Din
This range of power jacks is available in 5 different pin diameters from 1.45mm up to 2.5mm. The standard mouldings are UL94V-0 rated and can be shielded if required   Circular mini DINs from GTK meet all the dimensions and functional requirements of DIN standards 41524 and 45322. The range is fully polarised and available in 3-9 way, shielded or unshielded, straight or right angle mount. Panel mount versions are available in 3, 4, 6 and 8 way

PC99     41612
The PC99 design guide was developed to simplify the multitude of connections utilised on standard PCs. GTK offers a full range of colour coded connectors including D sub miniature and mini DIN connectors for PC99 applications or similar requirements where clear colour coded identification is needed.   GTK's DIN 41612 connectors include industry standard dual and triple row receptacles and headers in B, C, Q and R configurations with circuit sizes 8 to 96 way. A 64 way IDC version accepts standard 0.050'' flat ribbon cable.

Pin Headers     PCB Sockets
A complete range is available with contact pitches of 1.27mm, 2.0mm and 2.54mm and pin counts of 1-120. Connector configurations are single, dual and triple row with straight, right angle or surface mount options. Mini jumpers are available in 2.54mm with 2-10 contacts for simple programming.   Single or double row housings are available with a contact pitch of 1.27mm, 2.0mm or 2.54mm, comprising straight or right angle with up to 100 contacts. Surface mount or through board contacts are also available.

Box Headers     Latched Headers
This low profile design features 10-100 contacts and centre slot polarisation. Full or selectively plated gold contacts are available in either straight or right angle versions.   Available in both 1.27mm and 2.54mm pitch, these industry standard PCB headers have 10-100 contacts. Centre slot polarisation and both long and short latch versions are available.
