New D sub miniature connectors from GTK - the manufacturer of high quality, low cost interconnection components – all meet the requirements of the new RoHS legislation which will be introduced next summer. The range includes high density, dual port, right angle and Combo D styles.

All devices feature precision stamped contacts, UL94-V0 rated PBT insets (nylon on request) and steel shells. Current rating is 1A with a dielectric withstand voltage of 1000V for one minute. Contact resistance is 25mΩ (max) and insulation resistance is 1000MΩ. Devices are guaranteed for 3000 mating cycles, and feature an operating temperature range of -55 to +105degC.

4-40 way connectors are available. For the right angle versions both European and Short American standard footprints are available. Dual port devices come with standard boardlock fixings in 9, 15, 25 and 37 ways. Female screwlock fixings are available on some types.
